You are supposedly Pro-Life, right? Or will you pretend to fall for some “compromise” only to have the compromise stripped out in Conference? You tried to get an amendment passed to strip tax money funded abortions, I know, you tried your hardest, it’s not your fault, typical weasel words.
Yet from reports in the news you are the gopher for Harry Reid trying to convince Ben Nelson to switch his vote? Is that true? If so, so much for your values. Christian except when it is inconvenient.
I know I'll get another POS email from your office, you won't read this, guess what, I no longer care. The Majority of this Nation has said NO to this “health care bill” and a lot of everything else you have crammed down our throats.
You know nothing, you and your ilk have created the problems, and to solve the problems you wish to create more problems. CRA-Housing, Regulation-loss of industry. You (both the singular you and the three branches of Government), ARE the problem.
The solution to this problem is first and foremost getting rid of you and those like you, from ALL public offices, as in banned for life.
After that, institute TERM LIMITS for all elected offices, two terms, including currently served terms.
After that, ensure that every State in the Nation has a reliable method to remove representatives mid-cycle, and to force accountability in a timely manner via trial outside of Congress. Think William Cold Cash Jefferson and Charlie tax cheat Rangel on this one.
Re-institute impeachment as a process in the House and Senate.
Whatever laws are passed by Congress, Congress will no longer be allowed exempt themselves.
Healthcare, retirement etc. you get what all civil service employees get, you want a government pension, put in your 20 – 30 years in your GS categories.
Perks – you wish to travel, out of your pocket not mine. You wish to entertain, take the food from your pantry, not mine. You wish to give a gift or award, use your credit card, not Uncle Sam’s.
Election reform - all ballots will now have “None of the above” added to them, if “None of the above” wins, a special election will be called, with all new contenders. Those in the failed race are no longer able to run for that office.
Campaigning – if you are in office, you may let your work speak for you. Taking time off from your work schedule in Congress to campaign is despicable at best. This doesn’t mean that you can’t fly home to meet your constituents and campaign it just means you fly home at your cost, on your time and you don’t miss meetings, hearings and votes. If you feel so strongly that you need to campaign, resign your position and campaign.
Campaign Funding – Maximum donation $100 per legal US Citizen ONLY, and only from the district, town, city, state that you wish to represent, no PAC, no lobbyist, no nothing else, We the People, not We the PAC, Company, Union, Foreign Entity et al. You say that isn’t going to be enough money to run a campaign? Learn how to budget, you expect us to do it, you need to learn how to do it, you never know, maybe you can find some other use for budgeting once you learn the skill.
You Robert Casey are a liar, your party is filled with liars and cheats, thugs and sellouts (as is the other), or even worse those that actually wish to destroy this Nation. Your judgment day will come the only pity is We The People will not get to witness it.
Healthcare - Kill The Bill or pack your bags, those are your only two options. Pretend your soul depends on it.
